YOTTA PRODUCTIONS is the Cairo-based production services partner behind international commissions for Netflix, Discovery, and National Geographic. We are a one-stop shop for commissioned productions in Egypt, managing every stage from idea to screen, across genres spanning documentary, feature film, branded content, and live television events. Our credits include Netflix’s Unknown: The Lost Pyramid, which topped Netflix’s global chart on release and earned two Emmy nominations.
Shorouk El Attar founded YOTTA PRODUCTIONS in 2018, driven by a lifelong passion for filmmaking she first studied at the American University in Cairo. She began her career at Video Cairo Sat, the international news agency led by Mohamed Gohar, known internationally as ‘The Media Pharaoh,’ before following that passion into filmed entertainment as a freelance producer, building a body of work across international formats, documentaries, and film. That same passion drives her personal involvement in every major Yotta engagement, as executive producer or lead producer depending on the project, giving clients direct access to her judgment and relationships built throughout her career.
Yotta is the single point of responsibility for physical production in Egypt, covering permits, scheduling, logistics, talent, crew, and equipment, so clients work with one team instead of a dozen vendors.
Our permit acquisition and local production facilitation draw on established relationships with Egypt Film Commission, Press Center, and Antiquities Ministry, securing access for unique locations, aerial filming, and underwater shoots. We build the schedule and manage every logistical detail, from travel and accommodation to on-site coordination, keeping production moving from prep through wrap.
On the ground, we work with Egypt’s top market professionals across every department, camera, lighting, grip, sound, and specialty rigs for aerial and underwater work, and connect productions with the on-screen talent and subject-matter experts a story needs. It’s how we deliver seamless production operations on every shoot, regardless of scale or location.
Storytelling drives everything we do. We provide story and format development, script consultancy, and research, both for productions refining their story ahead of filming and for projects still in early development. For projects still seeking financing or commissioning, we build the full pitch package, pitch decks, indicative budgets, production blueprints, timelines, and sizzle reels, giving clients everything they need to bring a commissioner or financier on board with confidence. That creative foundation carries across every platform, whether a feature film, a landmark documentary, or a branded campaign, with the same level of craft.
At YOTTA PRODUCTIONS, we believe in the power of collaboration. Our strategic partnerships make us a one-stop-shop for all production needs, ensuring every aspect of the filmmaking process is handled with expertise and care.
We proudly collaborate with Blue Sky Travel, Egypt’s leading travel agency with branches across every continent, on travel arrangements, accommodation, and on-site coordination. For equipment, we partner with Kit & Crew, a Cairo-based rental house supplying camera, lighting, and grip gear for every production. Through our partnership with Past Preservers, we connect productions with leading experts and on-screen talent for documentaries, adding authentic voices and credible insight to every narrative. As part of the Fabula Associates network, a global powerhouse in documentary filmmaking, expanding our reach and creative vision through collaborations with world-class experts and storytellers.
We work closely with the best post-production, VFX, sound, and VR production facilities in Egypt, Europe, and the US, ensuring flawless finishing touches and world-class quality. Our strong ties with Egypt Film Commission, Press Center, and Antiquities Ministry enable us to navigate local regulations swiftly, ensuring every shoot is smooth, efficient, and fully compliant.
Together with our partners, we deliver exceptional quality and world-class production value, solidifying YOTTA PRODUCTIONS as a trusted partner for filmmakers worldwide.
